On July 15, 2025, I attended the Public Service Values Overview Webinar hosted by the Civil Service Commission of the Philippines – Civil Service Institute (CSC-CSI). The webinar, held via live stream on Zoom and accessible through the CSI E-learning platform, focused on reinforcing the values that guide the service of public servants. It was a great honor to attend this session, which provided a deep dive into the PIES framework, emphasizing the importance of patriotism, integrity, excellence, and spirituality in public service. The facilitator, who expertly guided the session, made sure to highlight how these values are not just theoretical, but practical principles to implement in everyday work. I am grateful for the insights I gained and the opportunity to interact with like-minded individuals from across the Philippines.
